him

new
canticle,

well
unto
him
with
a
loud
noise.

Cantate
ei
canticum
novum;
bene
psallite

vociferatione.

For
the
word
of
the
Lord
is
right,
and
all
his
works
are
done
with
faithfulness.

Quia
rectum
est
verbum
Domini,

omnia
opera

He
loveth
mercy
and
judgment;

earth

full

the
mercy
of

For
he
spoke

they
were
made:
he
commanded

they

ipse
dixit,

mandavit

creata
sunt.

The
Lord
bringeth
to
nought
the
counsels
of
nations;
and
he
rejecteth
the
devices
of
people,
and
casteth
away
the
counsels
of
princes.

Dominus
dissipat
consilia
gentium;
reprobat
autem
cogitationes
populorum,
et
reprobat
consilia
principum.

But
the
counsel
of
the
Lord
standeth
for
ever:
the
thoughts
of
his
heart
to
all
generations.

Consilium

Domini

æternum
manet;
cogitationes
cordis
ejus

generatione

generationem.

Blessed
is

nation
whose
God
is
the
Lord:
the
people
whom
he
hath
chosen

his
inheritance.

abundance

them

fear

hope

metuentes

misericordia

deliver
their
souls
from
death;
and
feed
them
in
famine.

eruat
a
morte
animas
eorum,

alat
eos
in
fame.

Our
soul
waiteth
for
the
Lord:
for
he
is
our
helper
and
protector.

Anima
nostra
sustinet
Dominum,
quoniam
adjutor
et
protector
noster
est.

For
in
him
our
heart
shall
rejoice:
and
in
his
holy
name
we
have
trusted.

Quia
in
eo
lætabitur
cor
nostrum,

in
nomine
sancto
ejus
speravimus.

Let
thy
mercy,

Lord,

upon
us,
