1 I believe in one God,
1 Credo in unum Deum,
2 the Father almighty,
2 Patrem omnipotentem,
3 Maker of heaven and earth,
3 factorem cæli et terræ,
4 of all things visible and invisible.

5 And in one Lord Jesus Christ,

6 the only-begotten Son of God,

7 and born of the Father before all ages.

10 begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father:

11 by whom all things were made.

12 Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven.
12 Qui propter nos homines et propter nostram salutem descendit de cælis.
13 And was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, and was made man.
13 Et incarnatus est de Spiritu Sancto ex Maria Virgine, et homo factus est.
14 He was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate;
14 Crucifixus etiam pro nobis sub Pontio Pilato;
15 suffered, and was buried,
15 passus, et sepultus est,
16 and the third day rose again, according to the Scriptures,
16 et resurrexit tertia die, secundum Scripturas,
17 and ascended into heaven, sitteth at the right hand of the Father.
17 et ascendit in cælum, sedet ad dexteram Patris.
18 And He shall come again with glory,
18 Et iterum venturus est cum gloria,
19 to judge the living and the dead,
19 judicare vivos et mortuos,
20 of whose kingdom there shall be no end.
20 cujus regni non erit finis.
21 And in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of life:
21 Et in Spiritum Sanctum, Dominum et vivificantem:
22 who proceedeth from the Father and the Son.
22 qui ex Patre Filioque procedit.
23 Who together with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified:
23 Qui cum Patre et Filio simul adoratur et conglorificatur:
24 who spoke by the prophets.
24 qui locutus est per prophetas.
25 And one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
25 Et unam, sanctam, catholicam et apostolicam Ecclesiam.
26 I confess one baptism for the remission of sins.
26 Confiteor unum baptisma in remissionem peccatorum.
27 And I await the resurrection of the dead,
27 Et exspecto resurrectionem mortuorum,
28 and the life of the world to come. Amen.
