any
man
shall
say
anything
to
you,

Lord

need

them

daughter

garments
upon
them

him
sit
thereon.

And
a

multitude
spread
their
garments
in
the

cut
boughs

trees

autem

And
the
multitudes
that
went
before
and
that
followed
cried,
saying:
Hosanna
to

son

Blessed

cometh

he

come
into
Jerusalem,

whole
city
was
moved,

the
people

This
is
Jesus,
the
prophet
from
Nazareth

Galilee.

into

temple

God
and
cast
out
all
them
that
sold
and
bought
in
the
temple
and
overthrew

tables

doves.

he
saith

It

him
the
blind
and
the
lame

he
healed

chief
priests
and
scribes,
seeing

wonderful
things
that
he
did
and
the
children
crying
in

indignation,

Hearest
thou
what
these
say?
And
Jesus
said
to
them:
Yea,
have

never
read:

mouth

infants

sucklings

praise?

Audis
quid
isti
dicunt?
Jesus
autem
dixit
eis:
Utique.
Numquam
legistis:
Quia
ex
ore
infantium

lactentium
perfecisti
laudem?

And
leaving
them,
he
went
out
of
the
city
into
Bethania
and
remained
here.

relictis
illis,
abiit
foras
extra
civitatem
in
Bethaniam:
ibique
mansit.

And
in
the
morning,
returning
into
the
city,
he
was
hungry.

Mane
autem
revertens
in
civitatem,
esuriit.

And
seeing
a
certain
fig
tree
by
the
way
side,
he
came
to
it
and
found
nothing
on
it
but
leaves
only.
And
he
saith
to
it:
May
no
fruit
grow
on
thee
henceforward
for
ever.
And
immediately
the
fig
tree
withered
away.

Et
videns
fici
arborem

secus

seeing
it
wondered,

How

it
presently
withered
away?

sunt,

aruit?

And
Jesus
answering,
said
to
them:
Amen,
I
say
to
you,
if
you
shall
have
faith
and
stagger
not,
not
only
this
of
the
fig
tree
shall
you
do,
but
also
if
you
shall
say
to
this
mountain,
Take
up
and
cast
thyself
into
the
sea,
it
shall
be
done.

autem
Jesus,
ait
eis:
Amen
dico
vobis,
si
habueritis
fidem,
et
non
hæsitaveritis,
non
solum
de
ficulnea
facietis,
sed
et
si
monti
huic
dixeritis:
Tolle,
et
jacta
te
in
mare,
fiet.

And
all
things
whatsoever
you
shall
ask
in
prayer
believing,
you
shall
receive.

omnia
quæcumque
petieritis
in
oratione
credentes,
accipietis.

And
when
he
was
come
into
the
temple,
there
came
to
him,
as
he
was
teaching,
the
chief
priests
and
ancients
of
the
people,
saying:
By
what
authority
dost
thou
these
things?
And
who
hath
given
thee
this
authority?

you
one
word,
which

you
shall
tell
me,

authority
I

things.

Interrogabo

ego

sermonem:

dixeritis
mihi,

vobis
dicam
in

potestate

heaven
or
from
men?
But
they
thought
within
themselves,
saying:

cogitabant
inter

If
we
shall
say,
from
heaven,
he
will
say
to
us:
Why
then
did
you
not
believe
him?
But
if
we
shall
say,

men,

afraid
of

multitude:
for
all
held
John
as
a
prophet.

will
not.

repentance,
he

abiit.

coming

other,
he
said

manner.

he
answering

Sir.

he
went

autem
ad
alterum,
dixit
similiter.

respondens,
ait:
Eo,
domine,

Which

two

the
father's

They
say
to
him:
The
first.
Jesus
saith

them:

I
say
to
you
that
the
publicans
and
the
harlots
shall
go
into
the
kingdom
of
God
before
you.

it,

went
into

strange

fruits

he
sent

servants

husbandmen
that
they
might
receive
the
fruits
thereof.

tempus
fructuum

agricolas,

acciperent
fructus
ejus.

And
the
husbandmen
laying
hands
on
his
servants,
beat
one
and
killed
another
and
stoned
another.

Et
agricolæ,
apprehensis
servis
ejus,
alium
ceciderunt,
alium
occiderunt,
alium
vero
lapidaverunt.

Again
he
sent
other
servants,
more
than
the
former;
and
they
did
to
them
in
like
manner.

Iterum
misit
alios
servos
plures
prioribus,
et
fecerunt
illis
similiter.

And
last
of
all
he
sent
to
them
his
son,
saying:
They
will
reverence
my
son.

Novissime
autem
misit
ad
eos
filium
suum,
dicens:
Verebuntur
filium
meum.

But
the
husbandmen
seeing
the
son,
said
among
themselves:
This
is
the
heir:
come,
let
us
kill
him,
and
we
shall
have
his
inheritance.

Agricolæ
autem
videntes
filium
dixerunt
intra
se:
Hic
est
hæres,
venite,
occidamus
eum,
et
habebimus
hæreditatem
ejus.

And
taking
him,
they
cast
him
forth
out
of
the
vineyard
and
killed
him.

Et
apprehensum
eum
ejecerunt
extra
vineam,
et
occiderunt.

When
therefore
the
lord
of
the
vineyard
shall
come,
what
will
he
do
to
those
husbandmen?

Cum
ergo
venerit
dominus
vineæ,
quid
faciet
agricolis
illis?

They
say
to
him:
He
will
bring
those
evil
men
to
an
evil
end
and
let
out
his
vineyard
to
other
husbandmen
that
shall
render
him
the
fruit
in
due
season.

male
perdet:

vineam
suam
locabit
aliis
agricolis,

reddant
ei
fructum
temporibus

Jesus
saith
to
them:
Have
you
never
read
in
the
Scriptures:
The
stone
which

builders
rejected,
the
same
is
become
the
head
of
the
corner?
By
the
Lord
this
has
been
done;
and
it
is
wonderful
in
our
eyes.

you

the
kingdom

taken
from
you

given

nation
yielding

fruits
thereof.

whosoever
shall
fall
on
this
stone

broken:

on
whomsoever
it

grind

And
when
the
chief
priests
and
Pharisees
had
heard
his
parables,
they
knew
that
he
spoke
of
them.

sacerdotum

pharisæi
parabolas
ejus,
cognoverunt
quod
de
ipsis
diceret.

And
seeking
to
lay
hands
on
him,
they
feared
the
multitudes,
because
they
held
him
as
a
prophet.

Et
quærentes
eum
tenere,
timuerunt
turbas:
quoniam
sicut
prophetam
eum
habebant.
